Fixation Pins |
A patented fluted FIXATION PIN, for fixation of instruments to bone, is designed to be used with the mallet/pin remover. These unique pins have radii on the slot that the pin remover engages, to facilitate extraction. A precise tolerance provides a firm grip by virtue of the chamfer design on the undersurface of the remover. The fluted slots along the pin shaft resist the pin backing out during saw vibration. |

Mallet (Jumbo) |
This well-balanced, polished, stainless steel MALLET comes in a jumbo (1 1/4" dia. by 2 3/4") head size. The handle is made of polished canvas phenolic. Used in conjunction with an impactor or tamp, it provides the perfect tool for trial and final prosthesis seating. It is also the ideal weight to drive in heavy-duty femoral rods. |

Tibial Impactor |
The TIBIAL IMPACTOR is a one piece canvas phenolic instrument with a stainless steel cap. It is used to tamp the tibial plate with or without cement. The distal end prevents any damage to the plate. These one piece instruments overcome the thread stripping problem encountered by traditional impactors when failing to fully engage the threads on each other in a compressive manner while reassembling after autoclave. |

V-Tamp |
The shaped end of the V TAMP fits the edge of a femoral prosthesis to facilitate removal. A curved radius behind the ' v ' prevents the tamp from digging into bone. |

Femoral Scraper |
The FEMORAL SCRAPER is designed to release the posterior capsule off the femur in contracted TOTAL KNEE anthroplasties. The design is unique in that it has an increased radius that affords the patient protection from the surgeon pushing the instrument into the popliteal artery and nerve while stripping the capsule. |
